The trend: Pink lips
Why it's big: “Bright makeup is a reflection of the season's colors and fabrics,” says Aharon. And, she says, it's pretty easy to wear. “It's exactly what I put on if I don't have time to get ready – just throw on a bright lip, some mascara and go.”
How to wear it: Pick a shade that complements your skin tone. “Lighter pinks work on women with pink or cool undertones, and warmer pinks look best on skin with yellow undertones,” she says. Go with a creamy lipstick formula in this case, too, says Aharon – it'll last longer than gloss.

The trend: Glowing skin
Why it's big: “Spring is all about fresh-looking skin,” Aharon says. “Everyone wants the look of youthfulness and health.”
How to get it: Aharon suggests enhancing your natural radiance by combining a bit of liquid highlighter with your moisturizer or foundation. You can also draw attention to the high points of your face (cheekbones and brow bones) with a bit of liquid or powder shimmer that's blended thoroughly. Aharon likes warm, golden colours for medium to darker skin, and silvery or pearly shades for paler tones.

The trend: Messy, ballerina bun
Why it's big: “We've progressively been seeing more and more loose, undone hair styles on the runways,” says hair and makeup artist Lisa Aharon, who's worked on Marc Jacobs' and Vera Wang's New York fashion shows. “The effect seems effortless but still fashion-forward and chic.”
How to wear it: Apply a little shine serum to towel-dried hair. Work it through to enhance natural texture. Next, use your fingers to rake hair back at mid-height or at the nape of the neck. Twist into a knot and secure with bobby pins. Don't worry about making it too neat – random ends sticking out is what makes this style look relaxed.
